Sunday Service – Guest Speaker: Stacey T. Hayashi, author of “Journey of Heroes”, story of the 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team and her upcoming movie based on this comic style book. She is working with Akemi Bischoff, casting director of the movie. They are looking for young Japanese guys between the ages of 18 to maybe mid-30’s to act as young “Daniel Inouye” type going to war. Please come to hear about this interesting part of Hawaii’s history!

After the Sunday Service, we will begin Bazaar preparation by bringing out all the stored items for sale at the Bazaar October 16. HELP IS NEEDED!

Bazaar Preparation week – Anyone who has time to spare during the week, your HELP IS NEEDED to separate the various items for sale and pricing the items. Retirees, this is a wonderful event to meet other retirees!

Stacey T. Hayashi, author of “Journey of Heroes”, story of the 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team, will come to Jodo Mission of Hawaii on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. to speak about the upcoming movie on this interesting book made in comic book style.
