Special – Queen Liliuokalani Centennial Observance

Tomorrow  marks the 100 year passing of Queen Liliuokalani on November 11, 1917.  All church bells rang across these islands at  the time of her passing .  To this day the Queen still remains a symbol of peace and strength although a century worth of days have passed, generations later, landscapes changed and the political structures changed.

Tomorrow November 11, 2017 at 8:30 am over 200 churches across the island chain will sound their bells to honor the Queen, just as it happened 100 years ago at the announcement of the Queen’s passing.  Church bells will ring 100 times all over the island chain.  Please join Jodo Mission of Hawaii at 8:30 am tomorrow for this 100 bell Centennial Observance.
